Born out of the chaos of the pandemic, Raíces Ibéricas winery had a vision: to showcase the best of Spain’s indigenous grapes from each variety's finest region. They believe Spain has a huge wealth of terroirs and ancient, high-altitude vineyards, many of them abandoned and forgotten. So they search them out and every vintage deliver exciting, unique wines. This new project has already garnered acclaim from critics with Jancis Robinson declaring the winery an ‘exciting newcomer’ in 2020. Albillo is a rare variety, at its best grown on the high-altitude, stony, chalky soils of the Cigales region in Castilla y León. Lees aged and stirred, there's a creamy edge and roundness to the mineral notes of this exceptional white. Ideal with seafood.
