Tasting Note
In 2016 – the 50th vintage of Geyserville – it is a blend of 69% Zinfandel, 23% Petite Sirah, 6% Carignan and 2% Mataro. As ever, its 14.5% alcohol is masked by this wine’s incredible balance. Intense aromas of bramble fruit, liquorice, sweet spice and cedar-wood are combined with a palate that offers brightness, richness, fine tannins and acidity that makes this refreshing.
