A cracking bargain! It may only be Crianza status but this gives its drinker the full Rioja picture with a spicy fruit flavour and lingering oaky aftertaste. It has a lively woody aroma which fits well with the typical fruitiness of these wonderful grape varieties. With a smooth, silky body. It is elegant and sophisticated, leaving a lingering length on the palate. Good accompaniment for Serrano ham, strong cheeses, and pate. It also goes well with a variety of meats, poultry and game.
