Tasting Note

This 16YR Auchentoshan was matured in a re fill Ex Bourbon Hogshead cask. The nose is enticingly fruity, with rich seville orange and abundant wood spice. There is some sweet vanilla on the palate, developing into dark chocoalte and macerated cherries. Bottled at 48.4% this is a full flavoured lowlander showing the true character of the malt and is highly commended.
