Tasting Note
Produced at a vineyard that has an 1855 rating of Great Classified Growth. Grapes for this wine are grown within a selected 28 hectares on vines ranging from 30-40 years old. The site is picked because of it's slight elevation and gravelly clay soil. The grapes are left on the vines until the optimum levels of noble rot have occurred. They are then handpicked and vinified separately before being blended via careful vinification techniques.
