Tasting Note
Good depth of colour for Nebbiolo, this has great power and intensity on both nose and palate. Made in a very traditional way, it takes a long time to be ready for drinking but in a cool vintage such as 2002, it is more approachable than others. Intense and truffley on the nose, it is rose-scented with a touch of coffee. On the palate, it shows great power and intensity, with the characteristic tannins of Serralunga Barolo balanced by the rich fruit produced by this wonderful vineyard.
